'we are all about beautiful happy things!' Says Sandra Isaksson's has her artistic motivation. Her range of works, created under the brand ISAK, represents her desire to preserve and pass on the memories that inspired her, the Swedish forest, her summers spent sculpting clouds and painting rainbows and the wintery winters with lots of snow.
Sandra was born in Sweden and now lives and works in London, England as a graphic designer and illustrator. Her style is unmistakeably Scandinavian with lots of colour and humor!
We love ISAK and we're also all in to beautiful things!

seasons greetings from millergoodman

I've got this lovely seasons greetings from millergoodman and I had to share it with you!

Zoe Miller and David Goodman (yes... again another design duo!) live and work in Brighton, England and in 2008 launched their brand 'millergoodman'. Their first product, the shapemaker won the best gift for kids at Top Drawer 2008.

Now they have the playshaper, also very fun. Here some images from happy costumers all over the world and what kids do it with this wonderful and creative toys!

today via house doctor's facebook page a sneak preview to their new spring 2011 catalog! I can't wait to put my hands on it and purchase some of the goods for 'gosto'!

I love their storage idea's, baskets, lockers, trunks... it matches perfectly with a more clean design style! Their lamps are also very nice and unusual! love love love!

meet donna wilson

Donna Wilson has been quoted as being ‘wonderful with wool’, a ‘material marvel’, a ‘textile designer extraordinaire’ and even an ‘All round textile legend’. 

She won The British Design Awards in the category Designer of the Year. This lady is a rising star! And we're proud to sell some of her wonderful and colorful products!

Everything she makes is made in the UK, except the trays, which are made in Belgium and the wonderful large blankets which are made in Portugal (how cool is that?). The knits are from scots wool and so soft... you have to feel it for yourself!

meet snug studio

Snug studio is another collaboration between two designers, Kerstin Reilemann and Berit Luedecke an interiordesigner and an architect. Snug studio creates design for 'home from a mix of generations', this time all the way from Germany!

We sell some of their products, and we love their clean design. Almost everything is handmade by the designers. A mix between Scandinavian graphic elements with old domestic objects, like this lamp made from a vintage porcelain coffee filter!
